Clean Soil Network - a Swedish network for soil and groundwater remediation

Our goal is to increase the communication and enhance the exchange of experience between different groups of expertise dealing with contaminated soil, sediments and groundwater

The network Renare Mark was established during 2001 after some trade meetings where the need for such an organization was recognized.

The network is run as a non-profit organization and is open for anyone interested in the area of soil remediation. There is a possibility to join either as an individual member or as a corporate member.

In the beginning of 2004 the network reached 100 corporate members and over 500 individual members.

The board consists of seven members elected at an annual meeting in March. The network is mainly financed by membership fees but also by sponsorship at bi-annual conferences arranged by the network.  Up to date there have been 12 two-day meetings and several shorter seminars during the first years that have passed since the start. Renare Mark also took a mayor part in hosting the first joint Nordic meeting, NORDROCS in Malmo 2006.
